Features like love, multi-castled maps and a dual generation storyline. It was never released in English although many players of the series are optimistic about a release in some form in the future. The games story-line is expansive as you are hurled into the middle of a complex country embroiled in war. Gameplay: The game is exceptional, harder then the gameboy advance sequels, but an enjoyable experience. The story is told in two halves, with the relationships you build between the male and female characters of the first half, affecting their children in the second half. The skills are diverse and also passed on to the children. The maps are expansive and give a real feel of joining the beleagured Sigurd's journey. The game is easy to pick up for veterans of the series, though its Japanese menu's take some getting used too. Sound: I never notice the sound, but its quite fitting for the game. My cartridge is old and my TV on plays the sound every so often. The battle sounds are quite good however. Appearance: The graphics are quite good, for a SuperNes game. Less cartoony then the Gameboy games though not as detailed. A lot of the sprites are merely cloned. Overall: Fire Emblem Four is a great game. For people who have played the Gameboy Games and want a further challenge, the game is different enough to be enjoyable in a completely different way from its sequels. The replayability is terrific, as there are many characters to use and many different parent combinations for the second half of the game. Storyline: The story of Fire Emblem Four: Seisen No Keifu is a rich and enthralling experience. Thrown into war, the country of Grandbell rallies and fights back against its neighbour Isaac. Grandbell's eight provinces march against this new foe. However, there are more ominous events on the horizon. Sigurd, the son of the lord of chaphy stays to guard his province and is forced to take up arms against the 'barbarians' of Verdane after his friend and daughter of a neighbouring duke, is kidnapped. The story begins here, and follows Sigurd and his band of loyal followers as they venture across the western half of the continent.
